Case Management

At the core of our work is the belief that every young person deserves support, guidance, and a real chance to succeed. Our Case Management services are designed to walk alongside youth as they navigate life’s challenges—and create their own path forward.

Our Approach: Transition to Independence Program (TIP)

We believe in giving every young person a seat at the table. Our case management services are grounded in the Transition to Independence Program (TIP) model. This youth-centered approach empowers youth ages 14–24 to take the lead in setting their goals and making meaningful decisions about their futures.

  • Youth voice matters.

  • Youth choice is respected.

  • Youth progress is supported.

By focusing on their strengths and vision, we walk alongside them as they build the life they deserve.

We offer in-the-field and on-site case management throughout the city of Compton.

Right in the heart of Downtown Compton—directly across from the Compton Civic Center and Courthouse—our office is easy to find and close to the community we serve.

We meet youth where they are—literally and figuratively.

Who we serve

We support youth ages 14 to 24 who may be:

  • Facing housing insecurity

  • Disconnected from school or employment

  • Transitioning out of systems of care

  • Experiencing justice involvement

  • Seeking guidance and support for personal growth

If you're a young person in Compton—or know someone who is—we're here for you.

Restorative Justice in Action

Everyone deserves more than just a second chance.

At Bridging the Gap, we embrace a Restorative Justice lens in all our case management efforts. We proudly support youth who are justice-involved, helping them rewrite their narrative and rebuild their future with dignity, support, and community.
